Description
A pair of Italian neoclassical period painted and gilded candlesticks from the 18th century, with fluted motifs and hoof feet. Created in Italy during the later years of the 18th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a painted body accented with gilt motifs. Carved with acanthus leaves and fluted patterns, this pair of late 18th century neoclassical candlesticks, resting on hoof feet, will make for a great decorative addition, perhaps placed above a credenza, enfilade or console table.
