Of a notably large size, this Hanukkah menorah combines geometric and foliate decoration.
The central stem is separated into two sections. The upper half features a tiered bulbous design, capped by a foliate finial. The lower half features fluted columns within floral cups. The stem sits on a tiered base, with an engraved semi-circular support atop a hexagonal plinth.
From the central stem extend eight diagonal arms, each divided into two sections by tiered ornamentation in the centre of each arm. A tapering fluted candle holder surmounts each branch. The separated shamash follows a similar design, and an additional removable oil jug can be seen below the shamash.
The menorah is stamped to indicate that the piece was hallmarked by the London Assay Office (2019).
Crafted from shining sterling silver, this menorah wows with its impressive decoration. -
