Stunning and refined chest of drawers designed by Svend Langkilde for Illums Bolighus, Denmark 1960. This well-crafted cabinet is executed in amazingly grained veneered rosewood supported by solid hardwood legs. These beautiful legs emphasize the three-dimensionality of this cabinet. It has four deep and wide drawers equipped with Langkilde's signature recessed handles. The drawers have different heights and the top drawer is divided into four compartments. Exceptional design, expected quality craftsmanship and sophisticated style are all evident in this period piece from the Golden Age of Danish design.

This elegant chest of drawers is in excellent condition, it is totally refinished with a high quality UV and water protective lacquer with preservation of authenticity. It is marked with a metal tag on the back. An incredible catch for any modern home, office or interior.
