Regency Chinoiserie and Marble Console Table

Early 19th Century English black and gilt chinoiserie marble top side or console table.

The Greek green marble top, later replaced, sits above a cushion frame frieze with exaggerated cabriole legs and stylised paw feet. The whole with chinoiserie decoration of intertwined dragons with opposing fighting warriors.

Circa 1820.
