An exquisite 19th Century French Empire style chandelier with 6 arms.
The chandelier showcases a balanced and symmetrical design. The frame is crafted from gilt bronze (ormolu) and shows intricate detailing on the arms and central support reflects the high level of craftsmanship associated with French artisans of the period.
At the heart of the chandelier hangs a beautifully cut crystal bowl, which serves as a diffuser for the light. The crystal is finely faceted, allowing it to catch and refract light in a dazzling display, adding to the chandelier's opulent appearance. The bowl ends with a large acanthus final and has 2 bulbs inside.
The chandelier features six elegantly curved arms, each terminating in a candelabra-style light fixture. These arms are richly ornamented with classical motifs, including acanthus leaves and scrolls ending in candle lights
The chandelier is suspended from an ornate ceiling rose by three interlinked chains. These chains, also made of gilt bronze, are robust yet finely detailed, contributing to the overall harmony of the piece.
