Stilnovo's Mod. Alberello floor lamp, dating from the 1950s, is a sublime example of mid-century Italian design. This lamp features a round base made of white marble, a material that lends stability and sophistication, evoking a sense of understated luxury. From the base grow six painted aluminum tubes, which rise to different heights, creating a visual dynamism reminiscent of the natural growth of a tree. These tubes serve as anchors for the spherical white glass lampshades, each of which houses a single light within it. In total, there are six lights.The lamp holders are equipped with metal joints that allow precise orientation of the light spheres, ensuring an even distribution of light. The name Alberello, meaning “little tree,” comes precisely from the radial arrangement of the tubes, which recreate the organic shapes of a tree, giving the room a touch of nature reinterpreted through the elegance of modern design.
