Most likely Sandwich, Massachusetts, mid-19th c.
Etched on pontil scar: “TW”, attributed to Thomas Williams, active at Sandwich Glass during this period.
Provenance: McKearins’ Antiques, January 23, 1956. Bourne”s Auction, Cape Cod May 5, 1987, Lot 779. Ex-collection of William J. Elsholz.
