Spanish 18th Century Solid Walnut Dining Table
-
Description
This unique trestle table from Spain was made in the 1700’s. The two walnut planks forming the table’s surface are hand cut with soft ripples along the grain that dazzle in the light. Carved arabesque legs are held together with square wooden pegs, joining the essential parts of the construction. A single solid walnut post stretches between the trestles creating stability.
