This fine Biedermeier cherry table was made in Vienna circa 1825.

Viennese Biedermeier pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design, excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.

This beautiful side table has a lovely cherry veneer accentuated by a light amber tone and 200 years old patina.
The double, delicate ebonized columns blend beautifully with the rest of the cherry elements of this fine table. On the table top is placed a beautiful genre scene in the technique of marquetry. The legs are finely shaped giving the piece a lightness and and beautiful proportions.
Under the top there is a discreetly placed drawer.

Even today it amazes with its refined shape and has a great influence on modernity.
