French Marquetry Chest of Drawers
Wonderful French marquetry chest of drawers from the 19th century in the Louis XVI style. Made primarily of mahogany and featuring intricate, exquisite marquetry work in lemongrass, ebony, rosewood and sycamore.
It has three large drawers, with original handles and keyholes in gilded bronce. The drawers have cylindrical pillars that end in thinner legs, decorated with linear decoration in alternating dark and light tones. This spectacular piece with so much history is finished with a high-quality black Saint Anne marble top with white veins.
Its elegant design and rich materials make this chest of drawers an exceptional and imposing piece. The warm, welcoming reddish tone of mahogany makes it a perfect piece for any room. A unique piece that captures the essence of classic French furniture.
