Napoleon III Lacquered Secretarial Desk
A piece of great rarity, quality and finesse, with a characteristic workmanship of the French chinoiseries of the 19th century. With a beautiful polychrome on the shiny black lacquer with touches of gold; it stands out for having ornamentation on all four sides. The cabriole legs, the ormolu rocaille decoration together with the mahogany interior in a warm tone make it an exceptional piece in the Napoleon III style. The lid, perfectly functional with its lock, has a domed shape that makes it even more special and rare.

A true neoclassical jewel, functional as well as beautiful thanks to its curved shapes and colourful Asian bird ornamentation.
