Fine George II gesso carved gilt mirror, the foliate carved cartouche with checkered ground surmounted by swan neck pediment over original shaped and beveled mercury glass plate with leaf carved surround, the lower section with scallop shell carving, recently dry scraped to reveal much original gilt surface.
