Regency Faux Rosewood Daybed or Recamier, c. 1810-1820

Description
This is a wonderful example of a classic Regency Daybed or Recamier. The Daybed features a faux rosewood frame with a cane back. The scrolling ends are detailed in gilt bronze rosettes. It has been properly reupholstered in a neutral ivory fabric and a down cushion. Although the upholstery is not new, it remains in good overall condition. This style of daybed could incorporate into many scenarios from an elegant bedroom to living room or study.
