Description
DAHL, Roald.
Kiss Kiss.
Stock Code 110143
New York, Alfred A. Knopf. 1960
Current price$3,013.00
Presentation copy. A collection of short-stories by one of the masters of that medium, Kiss Kiss includes the apiologically disconcerting 'Royal Jelly' and an early version of what was to become Danny: the Champion of the World.
With the author's fine, inscribed presentation inscription to the front free endpaper, 'For Josephine with love and Kiss-Kisses from Roald Dahl Feb, 1960'.
First edition, first printing, inscribed by the author; 8vo; publisher's pink cloth, decoration and titles to upper board and spine in pink and black, pink topstain, with the dust-jacket. A very nice copy in the rather torn and lightly rubbed and toned dust-jacket. -
