Description
The son of Odilon Roche, artist and art dealer, Camille Roche (1894–1948) demonstrated remarkable talent for painting from a young age. At 11, he was already exhibiting at the Salon d'Automne. After traveling to Italy and Tunisia, he became known for his decorations for Colette and Coco Chanel.
After the war, he collaborated with the Manufacture of Sèvres and worked alongside his brother Serge Roche, a renowned decorator, to create prestigious works, including for Lord and Lady Cholmondeley. Camille Roche was also recognized for his drawings of nudes, landscapes, and animals, and regularly participated in the major art salons of his time.
