Pair of English Regency Mahogany Hall Chairs
-
Description
Stunning pair of Regency hall chairs from England, circa 1800. Dramatic in color alone, the solid mahogany planks lend themselves well to carved, scrolling details in the shield-back seats. In the center of the back, a heraldic device in the form of a small vignette in polychrome depicts a wild-eyed horned goat after being shot through the heart with an arrow. Flat seats rest on two turned legs at front and plain, saber legs at the back. View the detailed images. Sold as a pair.
