French Louis Philippe Fruitwood Enfilade
-
Description
A beautiful enfilade from the 19th century, Louis Philippe period, milled and carved from fruitwood. Smooth planks of the top are arranged in a breadboard formation, highlighting the beauty of the grain. Within the frieze sit three drawers: the left and right drawers open with brass knobs, whereas the middle drawer has a faux finish escutcheon plate and opens with a working lock & key. Below the drawers are three paneled doors opening to an undivided cabinet with one shelf spanning the entire width, 17 ½” deep. The left door has a specific lock & key, whereas the center door and right door share a lock and key. Shaped bracket feet are the finishing touch to elevate the timeless design. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique enfilade is ready for your immediate use. View the detailed images.
