Description
A Chinese porcelain bowl with a partial celadon glaze.
Ming celadon is a type of Chinese ceramic from the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644 CE), known for its smooth, jade-like glaze in shades of pale blue-green. Produced mainly in the Longquan kilns, these pieces often feature simple, elegant forms with incised or molded decorations beneath the glaze. Ming celadon was prized both in China and abroad, admired for its serene beauty and fine craftsmanship. - More Information
