French Art Deco rosewood and brass sewing cabinet 1940s
-
Description
Beautiful Art Deco sewing cabinet fully covered with rosewood veneer dates from the early 1940, and features two drawers and a storage lifting top. This cabinet used to be a sewing cabinet, but would be a lovely addition to a bedroom or a dressing room, as jewellery furniture. The brass and nickel metal handles add a chic touch to the rosewood decor, making this small piece a one of a kind cabinet. With its geometric lines, this small piece of furniture perfectly represents the functional and elegant aesthetic of Art Deco. It has been fully restored, polished with traditional shellac varnish, and is in a superb state of conservation.
