This beautifully formed Mid-Century Modernist Hand-Blown Murano Glass Pendant Chandelier in Amber W/ Chrome Fittings by Mazzega originates from Italy, Circa 1970. Featuring a square composition with crenelated detailing along the top edge of the glass shade, this chandelier is suspended by a chrome rod and canopy with a disk of chrome circumscribing an opening on the bottom of the glass shade, unifying the piece materially while proving additional stability and protection. With a mottled texture and hints of amber embedded within the shade, this piece has an elegant sensibility and serves as a great example of the materials and techniques of Mid-Century Modernist Murano glass art. Newly rewired to American standards, this pendant accommodates one Edison Base bulbs achieving up to 100 watts of light. A total of eight pendants available for purchase.
