Raymond Leon Rivoire was a French sculptor who was born in 1862 and died in 1939. He was known for his intricate sculptures that were inspired by nature and mythology. Rivoire studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, France., and later became a professor there. His works can be found in various museums and public spaces throughout France, including the Musée d'Orsay and the Palace of Versailles.
