Pair Large Life-Size Carved Fu Lions
-
Description
This is a wonderful large pair of mid-20th century carved hardwood fu-lions crafted in the Qing style. Both lions are in very good condition with the anticipated age separations and minor scratches and chips. The lions feature loose pearls in their mouths and open carved balls at their feet. These are great decorative elements which traditionally guarded the entrance to a Temple or home. These big guys display a great fun-loving attitude and would add a little spice to just about any interior from traditional Asian to contemporary to a fine antique filled space.
***We are having the lion professionally polished and touched-up. -
