An antique Meiji period Japanese cloisonne enamel brass plate. The central part depicts an elegant motif with butterflies flying on a goldstone ground. Features elegant floral and scrolled foliage patterns to the border. The backside is also adorned with scrolls and flowers on a light turquoise ground.
