    A pair of large antique Japanese, late Meiji era, enamel copper vases. The urn shaped vases are adorned with polychrome images of birds in blossoming flowers against a bright turquoise background made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases of the wares are decorated with polychrome floral, foliage, and reticulated patterns made in the same technique. Unmarked. Circa: early 20th century.
