Great portrait of a lady from the second half of the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork of notable pictorial quality depicting a young girl with a plate of fruit attributable to the Italian painter Onorio Marinari (1627-1715), without authentication. Cousin and pupil of Carlo Dolci, he inherited the master's legacy and carried on his school. Noteworthy is the extraordinary executive quality of the still life and the drapery, with naturalistic details and chiaroscuro effects of great refinement. 20th century frame in carved and gilded wood, beautifully decorated, with some signs of aging. Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and repainting of the colour in small spots. Overall in excellent condition. Internal size H 94 x W 82 cm.
