Timber! It's all about the grain, and this outstanding 18th century Welsh farm table with a top made of a single thick plank of elm is hard to match. Detachable top over oak base having square tapered legs joined by "H" stretchers, the whole in beautifully patinated timber. Wales, circa 1800.
