Description
This striking table lamp was designed by Haico Nietzsche in the 1960s and produced as model 1219 by Søholm Stentøj, located on the Danish island of Bornholm. The base of the lamp is marked with the manufacturer's details.
The design features a lens-shaped base made of sand-colored glazed ceramic. The cut-out section in the middle has been left in the natural base color of the ceramic, creating a beautiful contrast with the brown and beige hues of the rest of the glaze. The ellipse shaped shade has been renewed in a linen textured, ivory fabric.
The lamp is in very good original condition. Currently with 220V European wiring and plug and a standard E26/E27 bulb fitting. -
