This Two Piece Chinoiserie carved parcel gold and green lacquer secretary desk is a striking and opulent piece. It features a hand-decorated lacquer and gilt bookcase with a flip-down desk. The design includes multiple compartments, with painted raised carvings throughout. The large central doors, adorned with figures in fine dress, open to reveal a meticulously red lacquered interior with intricate detailing. This piece combines both functionality and artistic elegance, making it a truly remarkable work of craftsmanship.
