William IV Antique Library Table
-
Description
A William IV Rosewood Library Table Writing Desk. Wonderful 19th century William IV Library Table with rosewood top with molded edge and skirt, having rosewood banded apron set on two tapering circular pedestals within scalloped bases on top of platform legs having carved paw feet on casters.
In good antique condition, wear consistent with age and use. Please see pictures. The top is composed of two wood panels having book marked rosewood veneers joined in the middle creating a seam about 1/32 inch wide the length of the table. The top over all has some scuffs in finish which are all pictured also see video. None of these imperfections are detracting to the table and are part of the tables 180 year history. Also note that these imperfections are not easily visible even when standing directly in front of the table looking directly down at the surface. This is a beautiful antique console, righting and or serving table. -
