This exquisite Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Textural Glass Sconces W/Brass Fittings by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors originates from Sweden, Circa 1960. They feature an oblong vertical composition with transparent glass shades and brass fittings. The shades are beautifully formed and have a dimensional oval shaped texture throughout the surface, interacting with the brass frames and diffusing the light of the bulbs. A brilliant example of the refined geometry and materials of Mid-Century Modernist design, these sconces will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, each sconce accommodates one candelabra base bulb achieving up to 60 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
