Afra and Tobia Scarpa Set of Six 'Monk' Chairs for Molteni, Italy, circa 1974

A highly simplified, sophisticated and solid design by Italian award-winning designer couple Afra & Tobia Scarpa, the 'Monk' model is composed of two equal trestles in solid walnut attached to shaped metal tubing, creating a single element for the seat and back.
