French 19th Century Console from a Dairy Farm

$ 7,800
  • Description
    An early 19th century French console table made from solid beech wood from a dairy farm. The rustic, well patinated top–featuring chamfered front corners– is incredibly thick (1 ⅞”) with stunning natural grain and inflicted texture from two centuries of use as a work table. The apron houses a single drawer that opens easily with a simply turned wooden pull. Four robust legs connect in pairs by short stretchers and one long plank that has lots of natural texture. This strong table has been cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to reveal every unique feature and color. Please view the detailed images.
