George Nakashima Armchairs, Black Walnut, Signed. Pair of walnut Nakashima armchairs in good un-restored original condition. Both chairs are signed on the underside of the seat with the client's name: "Stendig". The chairs belonged to Charles Stendig (1924-2024) - an American businessman and philanthropist who was the founder of Stendig Inc. The Nakashima Foundation for Peace has confirmed that Mr. Stendig's original order card is in their archives; a copy can be acquired for $500. Additional photos are available upon request.
