Castiglioni pair of first edition Gatto Grande lamps early 1960s
-
Description
Pair of Gatto Grande first edition lamps designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in the early 1960s. They feature their original white powder-coated metal structure, and diffuser made of cocoon resin sprayed onto the structure. Each lamp cocoon resin has an amazing light beige patina, giving a warm and cosy feeling even when lit off. They are found in an amazing condition considering their age. Both lamps are signed on the inside, and fully rewired.
