Greg Hawthorne Abstract Painting with Impasto Textures

Offered for sale is an abstract painting from Greg Hawthorne (20th Century American) depicting a gathering of people in tonal hues of off-white, brown, and blue. Heavy impasto pallet knife blade strokes are visible throughout the work that give the painting great textures. The painting is presented in its original brushed chrome frame, which shows some vintage wer given its age and use. This is a really interesting piece in person.

Gregory Hawthorne (20th century) painted and lived in both California and Michigan. Gregory Hawthorne is known for his abstract paintings, figurative sculptures, and design work. Gregory Hawthorne founded a gallery in Big Sur in 1995.
