-
Description
Luxurious in style, timeless in form & function, this French solid walnut enfilade is very adaptable to any space. Dating to the 19th century, Louis Philippe period, the walnut used in the piece was carefully selected and milled to highlight the beauty of the grain patterns. Within the frieze sit three drawers: the left and right drawers open with turned wood knobs, whereas the middle drawer has a decorative escutcheon plate and opens by a carved groove on the base of the drawer front. Below the drawers are three paneled doors opening to an undivided cabinet with one shelf spanning the entire width, 21 ¾” deep. The left door hooks onto the shelf, sharing a lock and key with the center door. A door to the right uses its own working lock & key. Stylized block feet are the finishing touch to elevate the massive design. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique enfilade is ready for your immediate use.
