Spanish 19th Century Fratino Dining Table
-
Description
A multipurpose Spanish fratino dining table, console or writing desk from the 19th century in stunning oak and wrought-iron stretchers. Thick top planks in breadboard arrangement are supported by an exquisite base made of splayed, carved lyre legs with an Arabesque profile curved and pointed along the edges. Typical of fratino tables, each sculptural iron bar bypasses the other, swinging from the underside of the top planks to meet the opposite leg ending in a spiral and pinned by a square iron stud on the outside. Whether used as a dining table, work table or console, this Spanish fratino will impart elegance and history to any room. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique table is ready to join your interior. Please view the detailed images for the current condition.
