18th c. German Louis XVI Period Beech Wood Armchair in Original Paint

Description
A beautiful 18th c. Louis XVI period armchair from northern Germany made of beech wood, hand scraped to the original paint and newly upholstered in linen fabric with nail head trim. Circa 1770. Beautiful guilloché carved detail on the back and seat frame with rosettes on the corner posts raised on tapered and fluted round legs with splayed back legs, which is quite unique.
