Charles Hart (1862-1960) Gloucester, Massachusetts
Carved Black Duck Decoy, ca. 1930.
Excellent condition, original paint with minor wear and paint loss.
By trade Charles Hart was a stone contractor and mason but he also had an affinity for carving fine duck decoys and was best known for his carved penguins.
