The Pace Collection Orba Wall Unit System, designed by Janet Schwietzer in the 1970s, is a stunning example of mid-century modern design. This wall unit is known for its innovative use of materials and sophisticated engineering. The system features extruded polished aluminum tubes that fit together seamlessly, creating a sleek and futuristic modern look.
This example was acquired from the collection of the original owner and includes five glass shelves supported by the cylindrical aluminum supports. This model originally had two hidden fluorescent light fixtures. This obsolete lighting was professionally removed and retro-fitted with state of the art silicon RGB neon lighting which is fully programmable at the push of a button with the included remote control. The combination of aluminum, glass, and colorful mood lighting creates a visually striking and functional piece that serves both as a display shelf and as a sculptural element in any space.
You can use different tones of white or blend the colors together to create a custom color that fits your aesthetic and save it to one of the two presets.
The system can be easily mounted to drywall with toggle bolts.
