Charming, late 19th century jewelry box from the period in Austria around 1890. This real beautiful designed ebonized wooden box impresses with its extraordinary inlay works showing a gorgeous looking, colorful flower arrangement on the lid which is additionally surounded by a delicate micro-inlayed frame. The fantastic crafted jewelry box offers a large main compartment, veneered with birch and highlighted by a mirrormatched nutwood field with an elaborate inlayed star motif in the center. On the inside of the hinged lid you will find the still original mirror with aging spots and slight scratches. Another appealing, inlayed floral pattern around the keyhole finalizes the incredible look of this late 19th century jewelry box/ decorative box.
