This rare pair of wall lights was produced by Falkenbergs Belysning in Sweden in the 1960s. The lamps are marked with the manufacturers initials 'FLB' inside the backplate.
The design features a smaller upper shade and a larger lower shade, together forming an asymmetrical diabolo shape. Each sheet metal shade has a black lacquered, closed side and a white lacquered, perforated side. Both shades can be fully and individually rotated into different positions, allowing for various combinations and creating unique light effects. The brass ring in the middle is connected to an arm that extends to the backplate, all crafted in brass. This very rare model showcases exceptional versatility and serves as a stunning example of the Swedish Modern lighting era.
The pair is in good vintage condition, fully working. The shades with minor wear including light scratches, minimal paint loss and a minor dent.
