A handsome walnut console made in the Restauration Period with a marble top. The stone top features spotted gray, monochromatic marbling with flat edges and rounded front corners. The apron is a wide drawer with bookmatched veneer drawerfront, opened by two brass knobs of intricate patterning across their concave surface. The top is supported by thick, S-scrolled brackets wrapped in exotic zebrawood veneer of high contrast stripes that matches the artistry present everywhere in this fantastic console. A lower shelf offering storage and display space is slightly raised off the floor by round feet. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax, this table is ready to join your interior.
