Set of Eight Italian Leather Postmodern Dining Chairs
-
Description
A very chic set of eight postmodern “Alice” style dining chairs, originally designed in 1984 by Giorgio Cattelan for Cattelan Italia. No visible marks on these examples to say definitively. Made of thick, black saddle leather expertly tailored to fit the minimal steel frames, the chairs feel comfortable with tall, ergonomic backs and wide seats, forgoing unnecessary details to focus on the purity of line & form. Four chair legs are also wrapped in leather, the back two legs are flat with the back panel whereas the front two legs are angled for an interesting silhouette from every angle. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition. Sold as a set of eight.
