French 19th Century Louis Philippe Gilt Mirror
-
Description
A delightful French Louis Philippe mirror from the 1800s in scaled down proportions to suit a number of rooms and decorating tastes. The elongated, gilded frame shows playful ribbon twist carvings around the outer edge, with a beaded texture around the mirror plate. Most likely the glass is original, no apparent foxing or crystallization. The lustrous gilt wood molding has spotty red bole peeking through, adding textural dimension for a big impact in your interior. Please view the detailed images.
