Description
19th century Italian starburst mirror with alternating solar rays of mirror glass and carved gilt wood flames that radiates energy while drawing the viewer in for a closer look. Each narrow sliver of mirror plate within the longest rays has varying degrees of foxing and opaque color, matched by the tactile warmth of the patinated gold gilt corona surrounding the (original) convex mirror plate at center.
