Hello,

This elegant and very rare pair of Austian/Viennese Biedermeier console tables were made c. 1835.

This pair of gorgeous consoles comes from an important historical period called the Danubian Monarchy (The Habsburg Empire).

The perfect proportions of the table tops sitting on beautifully shaped bases and delicate but very stable legs clearly attest to the high craftsmanship and great design.

Elaborately carved elements show a high level of craftsmanship. A pair of these beautiful consoles also has the function of a gaming table when the foldable top opens. The surface of the console used during gaming is covered with green felt.

The console tables will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.

Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.

The consoles has a lovely cherry veneer accentuated by a deep amber tone of french polish finish and 190 years old patina.
