This materially stunning Mid-Century Modernist Ceramic Bowl in Burnt Umber W/ Multicolor Blue Sculptural Dots Motif by Aldo Londi for Vistosi originates from Italy, Circa 1960. This piece features a beautiful array of applied detailing circumscribing the outer edge of the bowl, with a deeply hued burnt umber undersurface and a light grey inner glaze. Each of the dots is uniquely glazed in light and dark blues with moments of muted violets. With lovely proportions and unique material execution, this piece serves as an excellent example of the exploration and creative diversity of Mid-Century Modernist ceramics, and will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors.
