Dept.56 Grapevine Winery Ceramic Building From The Original Snow Village Series
-
Description
Great item for the wine aficionado, collector, and connoisseur. Made by Department 56 "The Grapevine Winery" is a Christmas village building from the "Original Snow Village Series" manufactured in 1917 (since retired in 2023). It is a large and sophisticated building with multiple windows, doorways, entry ways peaks, chimmies, skylights and arches; which when lit up with attached interior bulb accentuates all of these features. Hand crafted and hand painted in multiple colors of white, beige brown, grey, green,,and yellow the building depicts a "Barrel Room" in front, a carriage house entry in the rear, and what is perceptually a wine tasting and main entry to the front right of the building.
The building is in near mint, never used original condition with no chips, no repairs, and comes with its original packing materials and lithographed box included. Box has slight tear to top and packaging has similar styrofoam dent. Building is perfect.

Department 56 was established in 1976 with the intent of creating decorative winter and Christmas themed scenes that light up so that collectors could decorate their homes and businesses for the holidays.
Although Department 56 is an American Company all of their items, since their inception in 1976, were made overseas.
