Description
A beautiful ceiling lamp designed by Mauri Almari and manufactured by Idman in Finland in the 1950s. The lamp features a painted metal cone with glass beads all around, that make the whole lamp glimmer when the light is turned on. The item is in good condition, equipped with a manufacturers stamp by Idman. The height can be extended of course by extending the electric wiring.
Mauri Almari (1907-1973) was a respected Finnish lighting designer at the Idman factory alongside Paavo Tynell. The two worked closely together and even had similar styles. We have a number of other Mauri Almari lamps on offer on our website. -
